Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's!! We hope all of youhave plenty of reasons to smile, give thanks, and enjoy being
together during this special time of year. We are aiming at getting out a
Christmas card, but no guarantees. If you are complaining,

This chronological picture set begins with Anya's 1st Halloween,
1st Birthday (celebrated in the Twin Cities with friends), Thanksgiving in
Grand Rapids and Hibbing, and learning to walk and harvest Christmas
trees. Enjoy, she is just a ball these days.

A year already! Holy cow. What a beautiful kid! Congratulations you two. We often feel like the first birthday is a far bigger celebration for the parents than the kid. I hope you two have given each other a good pat on the back for surviving the sleepless nights and challenges of the first year. It's amazing how much lost sleep one smile from a baby can make up for, eh? Congrats!
